Bernardino (Dantino) Passeri (born in Rome between about 1530 and 40; died in Rome between 1590 and 1596) worked in Rome as an engraver, publisher, and draughtsman, also as an appraiser. In 1583 he was a member of the Virtuosi al Pantheon. Engraving series made after his designs exemplify the Counter-Reformation's didactic use of pictures.
