Ruggiero de' Ruggieri (born in Bologna before 1540; died in Fontainebleau in 1596/97) is first documented in 1557 as an employee of Primaticcio's at Fontainebleau. Appointed 'peintre et valet de chambre du roi'. Executed copies after Primaticcio and designed grotesque tapestries. In 1570, Primaticcio willed him his collection of drawings. The painter Toussaint Dubreuil was his son-in-law.
