Geometric abstractions

The Städel Museum's collection includes a number of artists who are intensively occupied with basic geometric forms and their variations. The artistic spectrum ranges from paintings through graphics to expansive objects. In doing so, the most diverse materials are used and a variety of structures and contrasts, forms and compositions are experimented with.
