Guglielmo Caccia, called Moncalvo (born in Montabone? in 1568; died in Moncalvo in 1625), presumably trained locally in the Lombard tradition; beginning in 1593 produced numerous altarpieces for churches in the Piedmont; in 1605-1608 worked under Federico Zuccari in the ducal residence, Turin, and from 1617 to 1620 in Lombardy.
