Biography

1946-1948 studies at the applied arts school, the Meisterschule für angewandte Kunst, Erfurt. 1950-1955 Staatliche Hochschule für Bildende Künste, Städel School, Frankfurt am Main, under Ferdinand Lammeyer and others. 1955-1956 Accademia di Belle Arti, Florence (scholarship). From 1976 member of the 'Hofheim Group' and the 'Frankfurt Circle' (from 1976). 1996 major exhibition in Hofheim.
