Biography

Klaus Rinke was born in Wattenscheid in 1939. After training as a poster painter in Gelsenkirchen, he studied painting at the Folkwang School in Essen. From 1974 to 2004 he taught sculpture at the Staatliche Kunstakademie Düsseldorf. He lives in Neufelden, Austria.
