Biography

Born in Krefeld in 1956. 1976 to 1983 study at the Düsseldorf academy, the Staatliche Kunstakademie, under Alfonso Hüppi. 1976 to 1979 worked as a DJ at Düsseldorf's Ratinger Hof. 1978 to 1980 drummer for the band Mittagspause, which he co-founded. Since 2002 professor at Munich's Akademie der Bildenden Künste. Lives and works in Munich.
